hey! I’m Ennis (they) playing Rune Gurdybuck (also they) and apparently I’m going to be in the Tavern!
the thing is, I’m really bad at walking, so people may have to come to where I am to RP with me. and I’m big nervous about that. but I’m trying to get over my internalized ableism and advocate for myself I guess????
Anyway, here are things that Rune can do:
- listen to your stories. as a performer and professional storyteller, they’re always looking for new inspiration.
- “Elven mind healing.” This is my OOC degree in social work. Please let my character listen supportively to yours and then maybe advise your suffer puppet on healthy coping mechanisms to deal with their trauma, it would make me so happy. - Storytelling! I know a lot of stories! I go to storytelling events! I’d love to tell you all some stories!
So those are my plans. I hope maybe you’re interested!
It will be great to get to hear more of your stories, Ennis! The BRASS BRIGADE office should be right there in the Guildhall, so I won't be far away. Looking forward to playing with you again!
it look like there’s gonna be a LOT of activity in that tavern, so I don’t think you’ll be bored or alone at all. You can also use the Tribune to spread the word about your abilities and encourage people to visit you!
Sounds like a fun character concept! Rhys has plenty of stories from his time with the fae, so I'm sure I'll be around to drop some interesting narratives!
This is my first lamp event and I'm flying solo so I totally understand the nervousness. I'm sure it'll fade once you get into character. Your character seems amazing! My character loves exchanging stories and his favorite spot is always any bustling tavern. I'm sure we'll bump into each other and Aleron can enthrall you about the time he tried to take a kings ship for a joy ride but crashed it
Hello! Can you tell us more about what we will see when we come to visit them within the tavern? An elven oracle? A wandering wise wizard/ mentor figure who has all the right answers? A performer with their tools of the trade before them, be it an instrument, games, or flashy feats? Feel free to let us know these things so we can consider them when we come to join their company. I look forward to meeting their character!
