Hey, it’s Grimsong(Silver Camp Marshal)! Thought you were awesome, and I’m sorry we had to turn you all away from the wall that one night... we had to do it to a lot of people... I wish you had managed to come around to the main gate so we could have interacted with you more as a camp. :(

Other, other question: What time can we show up if we got the early arrival ticket? It’s a 3 hour drive, and I want to get an early start, but not *too* early where I have to wait in my car a few hours.

@Bela - Bazaar Coordinator excellent! I kept having haunting visions of making like 8 half-mile trips back and forth with all my stuff in the sweltering heat... 😰

Question: will we be able to drive our vehicles along the roads to our camp to drop stuff off and then go park, or will we have to hike it all in and out? As a member of the camp seemingly furthest away from the parking lots, inquiring minds want to know. 😊

@Bazaar Coordinator this was very insightful! I was torn between doing an all-combat character(which is what I decided on) and an all-craft character. I’m thinking next time, I’ll land somewhere in the middle

I think our characters will get along splendidly, if you can withstand Grimsong’s weirdly specific moral compass. I almost don’t want to ask questions about your characters history and personality, because I think it will be so much more fun to figure it out in-person 😆

Welcome to Silver Camp, Noelle! While my character is a bit combat-leaning, Im definitely down for more of the role playing aspects, particularly what you said about mercy to enemies. My character’s ideology is that our entire universe is always in a struggle to maintain balance. Good/evil, light/dark, spicy/sweet, etc., so he works to help make it easier for balance. Let’s say a local lord is squeezing every cent possible from the locals in taxes. Grimsong might personally step in and while he wouldn’t outright kill the lord(power vacuums upset the balance) his sense of justice would kick in and he’d likely grab said lord by the shirt collar, drag him down the street, and show him the squalor of his poorest citizens’ living situation. Obviously, this sort of disregard for social hierarchy comes in conflict with many other ideologies, particularly noble birthrights. Grimsong’s logic is that if a person in a position of power feels the need to exert that power on the weak, then they don’t deserve the power bestowed upon them. So thats my 2 cents as an offer for a “party member”, I guess. He‘s practically aromantic, so romance plots are kinda out, but if you’re looking for someone with good stories tied in with his faith in True Balance, I’m your guy. Hit me up in camp if you’d like.

Cursed to be forgotten, huh? Sounds a little like the Gray Fox from good ol’ Oblivion. Always loved that idea where the “self” is directly tied to the actions you make, and not to your personality. Definitely looking forward to meeting you, and promptly forgetting you. ;)

@Dan Comstock that’s exactly the angle I’m going. Justice ≠ ”Goodness.” I once played this character in a DnD game, and our parties‘ rogue was quite confused when I revealed that I witnessed him steal some stuff from a merchant, but decided I was going to let him go on it because he had only stolen what he needed(bandages and foodstuff). The merchant was very corrupt and had been swindling people for years through price gouging, and honestly he was quite rude.
